His exceptional track record dealing with complex civil litigation spans across numerous areas of expertise including civil rights, racial discrimination, product liability, toxic tort, sexual harassment and wrongful termination.
Practicing law in the Bay Area since 1977, Bruce has tried many cases over the years. One of this largest trial wins for a client involved a multi-million dollar award for a matter that was both a gender discrimination and sexual harassment case. Additionally he has been co-counsel on numerous employee lawsuits.
Bruce received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley and his J.D. from Hastings College of the Law, University of California where he was a member of the Order of the Coif and The Thurston Society.
He is admitted to practice in all California state courts, in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Central, Southern and Eastern Districts of California, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
Bruce lives with his wife in Oakland, California, where he is active in local civic and political affairs.
