Mythily Sivarajah, an attorney with Adams | Nye | Becht | LLP since 2008, is skilled in litigating employment cases through all stages of case work, from the initial fact gathering phase to trial completion. Mythily is a passionate advocate for workers rights helping clients across various industries ranging from sales, retail, real estate, legal to financial services. She often deals with a wide range of employment law issues such as wrongful termination, employment discrimination, workplace harassment and retaliation.
A 2000 Cornell University graduate and Cornell National Scholar, Mythily received her Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations. She attended the University of San Francisco Law School, obtaining her J.D. in 2007. She was the recipient of the American Bar Association/Bureau of National Affairs Award for Excellence in the Study of Labor and Employment Law. While in law school, she was an intern at the Fair Employment and Housing Commission, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s Legal Unit and represented low-wage employees with employment law matters as part of a legal clinic.
Mythily is a member of the California Employment Lawyer’s Association, Consumer Attorneys of California, the South Asian Bar Association, and the Bar Association of San Francisco. She is admitted to practice in all California state courts, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California and the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mythily grew up in Sri Lanka and California and now lives with her family in San Bruno. She values nature, especially hiking and exploring the bay area and surrounding areas.
