About

California employees are hard-working men and women who know their jobs, know what’s fair, and know when something isn’t right. We trust their knowledge and sense of fairness. And in return, they trust us to be the ally at their side as they step forward to make their voices heard.

We work hard to get every one of our clients the justice they deserve in all types of lawsuits, including individual lawsuits, complex litigation, class actions, and arbitrations. We help our clients stand up to corporations seeking to deny their rights through unfair business practices such as unpaid minimum wages, unpaid overtime, failure to provide meal breaks, discrimination, and wrongful termination.

Travis Hodgkins, JD

Travis Hodgkins, J.D.

Since graduating from law school in 2008, Travis has recovered millions of dollars on behalf of his clients in California through individual lawsuits and class actions in both state and federal court. For a number of years, his recoveries in employment law have been recognized as some of the largest in California.

Prior to being an attorney, Travis worked as an hourly employee at all sorts of jobs, and the understanding he shares with his clients makes him a compassionate legal ally and a tireless advocate for the employees he represents. Informed by more than a decade of litigation experience, driven by his clients’ courage, and inspired by the civil rights victories of the past, Travis continues to fight for the underdog and will do so for years to come.

Travis has successfully litigated individual lawsuits and complex class action cases across multiple industries, including retail and wholesale businesses, dining and hospitality, convenience stores, security guards, manufacturing, agriculture, transportation, warehousing, food processing, entertainment, finance and banking, insurance, technology, and temporary staffing. These cases have dealt with myriad employment law issues including discrimination, sexual harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, requiring employees to work while off the clock, unpaid minimum wages, unpaid overtime wages, failure to provide meal breaks and rest breaks, misclassifying employees as exempt or as independent contractors, and others.

Travis also handles appeals before the California Courts of Appeal, the United States Court of Appeal for the Ninth Circuit, and the Supreme Court of The United States.
